18 KARAT GOLD
When it comes to gold, we use 18-karat for its perfect blend of qualities. Made of 75% pure gold and 25% alloyed metals like copper and silver, 18k gold strikes a balance between beauty and resilience. While pure gold, or 24k, is the softest and most delicate, it's not practical for everyday wear. Lower karat golds, like 10k or 14k, might be more affordable, but they come with a higher risk of causing allergic reactions. Our choice of 18k gold ensures a higher purity and hypoallergenic properties, making it a great practical option for jewelry.

Gold filled jewelry is composed of a solid layer of gold bonded with heat and pressure to a base metal typically brass or silver, we use jewelers brass. Gold filled jewelry is more durable than gold plated jewelry and can last a lifetime with proper care.

Cubic zirconia, often referred to as CZ, is a popular alternative to diamonds, known for its brilliant sparkle and clarity. This man-made gemstone is virtually flawless, and its durability makes it an excellent choice for everyday wear. Depending on the element CZ is treated with, it can change the color, making it a super versatile and colorful gem. At Amtaria, we use grade 5A cubic zirconia which denotes the highest quality CZ commercially available in the world. While it doesn’t have the same hardness as diamonds, CZ remains an excellent and reliable option for any jewelry collection.
